How to get pregnant when my husband doesn’t want to have sex with me?

So my husband is 40 and has an annoyingly low sex drive. We usually only have sex once during my fertile week because he’s never in the mood. Other than this my husband is absolutely amazing. But I know because of his lack of a sex drive it’s going to be so hard to get pregnant. Should I just go for artificial insemination?

If your husband is okay with taking male fertility supplements it helps with lack of sex drive ..

My SO is the same way and he’s only 31. He just has a low sex drive. It’s been basically impossible to get pregnant because we only have sex once or twice a month. Because of this, I was tracking my ovulation so we could pinpoint when we would need to have sex and I’d just wait until then. Sadly, all this did was put more pressure on him to perform and that just made things worse and sometimes, he wouldn’t even finish. 
At this point, I stopped telling him when it was time and I’d just try to initiate sex the day before ovulation (or as close to it as I can). Obviously, no luck yet but it’s the only chance we have of getting pregnant.

You could use opks to time it with your ovulation. Your most fertile day is the day before ovulation. So even if you only have sex once try and make sure its your most fertile day.
