Nervous about going through labor again...

With my first, I had such high anxiety and was so scared the entire 18 hours of labor. I was nervous about the epidural but ended up begging for it when the contraction pain was too strong. It was just so exhausting and painful because I had to be induced and the petocin was tripled since my baby was not wanting to come out. I was still 1 percent dilated after 8 hours so they amped it up. Then her heartbeat was dropping on and off, which of course was making me freak out. She ended up being sucked out with a “vacuum-like tool” (do not know the technical term for this...)because she just was not coming out. I’m reading all of these horror stories on here and it’s making me pretty anxious and scared for my second time around! I’m sure this summer and some of these birth stories are absolutely horrifying! Is it very un common to have just a regular normal birth?! Since my first birth experience was terrible I am very nervous to go through it again as I am approaching my due date...
