Hi December mamas!

Hope everybody had a lovely Easter 🐣

My baby was born Dec 11, making him a little over 4 months. Now I know the 4-6 month period is when babies truly start making more noise/babbling/etc.

So I am super curious - how much does your baby coo, make noise, squeal/laugh (basically make noise other than crying)

Please let me know when baby was born and whether your baby always replies back to you when you talk to him/her.

My in laws keep saying my boy doesn’t make much noise. He is a very well behaved boy (only cries when hungry), and he is very observant. Excellent eye contact and always smiling. He also squeals and coos and makes noise but not all the time. Maybe 1-2x per day for 30 minute intervals. Maybe longer and more often depending on the day. Slightly worrying, but trying not to bc he is vocal but not a whole lot.

Curious as to how other babies around the same age are.

Great responses everyone. Keep it coming. Did forget to mention that he blows raspberries all the time and has been since he was 3 months old. But I know raspberries are different than actually making noise with his voice.
