Erm you’re 4cm😳

So went in for a growth scan on the 18th of April. At 11.40. According to the scan he had dropped again past the 10th centile weighing approx 5lb 7oz. So that was it I was booked in for a induction on Monday. The midwife offered me a sweep and I thought why not🤷‍♀️ lie down and she goes in and looks and me, I’m thinking what is wrong 😭 she goes Bethany your 4cm dilated, baby’s head is so far down and your waters are not far off breaking. Your having this baby today. So off we pop to delivery. Had my waters broke at 5pm and the drip started straight after as I wasn’t having contractions. Anyway contractions come on thick and fast so I ask for the epidural because gas and air was making me physically sick. Had the site set up and I tell my midwife I need to push. She looked at me like.. I doubt you do. But she checked me. Low and behold I was 10cm and his head was there. 10 minutes of pushing and I welcomes Beau William McKenzie to the world at 19:59, 2 hours and 59 minutes of labour. Weighing a lovely 6lb 15oz. Absolutely perfect, cone head from birth and a head full of hair 😭😂 he’s absolutely perfect. I suffered a 3b tear and had to have a spinal and surgery but absolutely euphoric 🥰
