Natural or D&C

I've found out last night that my baby's heart stopped and baby stopped growing about 9.5 weeks.

I go into my OB today and they told me not to eat past midnight in case they are going to do a D&C.

The thought of a D&C is killing me. All the photos I've seen, the talk of limbs being ripped off..is this true?

How painful would it be to do natural? I've had a natural one before but that was a blight ovum. It took 4 to 5 weeks for my body to start bleeding with that one. I don't know if i could handle that again.
