I see more things about US becoming an "opt out" for organ donation. Where in when you die it is already pre determined that you ARE an organ donor, UNLESS, you choose to opt out and state you do not want to be a donor before you die.

What are your thoughts?

I personally am against it. I sat on dialysis 4 years and on the transplant list for 6. I was dying. But I would rather die on dialysis than support the forcing of someone to be an organ donor through death .

It would be nice and better if there was more positive talk and promotion of the good about organ donation and its' benefits. But don't decide for someone.

That being said. I am an organ donor. I always have been.
