How often do you hear the name Nora/Norah for babies/little girls?

DH and I love Norah but I’m starting to hear it more often, and as an ‘80s baby named Jennifer I’m hesitant to name any future child something super common.

Something to think about, not only is it a stand alone name....but a lot of people are naming their girls Eleanor and calling them Nora/Norah. 
If you’re in the USA you can search the social security website for name popularity...that may help

I love the name Norah. I wanted to name my first daughter Norah but we already had Noah and didn't want to do too many N names(we have a nephew named Nehemiah and a niece named Naomi). It is still a beautiful name to me though. 
I personally do not know anyone with a baby girl named Nora/Norah.

Our little girl is Nora and we have yet to meet another one. Aside from a few saying it was their granny's name 😂

It's not uncommon. But it's nowhere near as common as Jennifer was. In 2017, 3 out of every 1000 baby girls in the US was named Nora. In 1984, almost 3 out of every 100 baby girls were named Jennifer.
So if you were one of 20 Jennifers you knew growing up, she'd be one of 2 Noras. 
Based on the numbers, there is likely to be another Nora in her school, but not likely there'll be one in her class or even her same grade.
