Do/would you let your dogs lick your newborn/infant baby on the face???

I won’t let my dogs lick my baby’s face when he or she is born but if I couldn’t catch it in time then I wouldn’t flip out.. I’d just wipe the baby’s face off. I don’t let my dogs lick my face but they catch me off guard sometimes.. I feel like some people make way too big of a deal out of it.. yeah they lick their own buttholes but imagine all the stuff you touch throughout the day then touch your baby without even wiping off your hands. 🤷‍♀️ There’s bigger issues to worry about, just keep them a safe distance and if it accidentally happens, it’s not the end of the world.

I don’t think dogs licking your face is that disgusting. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe unpopular opinion but I let my boy lick my face lol. Not like I’m letting him lick inside my mouth or something. My hands touch my face and those touch just as many germs. That being said... I’m not going to let my dog close enough to my baby’s face to lick it. Dogs and kids, especially babies... should be kept a safe distance.

It happened a couple time because we have 2 dogs and sometimes they come out of nowhere when you aren’t paying attention (their favorite time) but I never just allowed it to happen.

I accidently hit yes 🙈.  Not their face no, but my dog only ever licked the top of her head once or twice when we brought her home.
