Measles Outbreak!?

Anyone else scared of this recent outbreak? I am vaccinated against it, but does anyone know if it could affect my unborn baby? That’s my main question.

My mom had the measles when she was little. The major complications are high fever (treatable with Tylenol/Motrin which they didn't have back then) and pneumonia  (treatable with antibiotics). So while the measles itself isn't preventable until vaccinated, the major complications associated with measles are generally treatable. I'd just take the same precautions as with flu season.

I’ll be talking to my baby’s pediatrician about how to vaccinate as early as possible. Will also be asking all day cares about their vaccination policies.

Your baby will be susceptible if they are not vaccinated. I'm still pregnant and it is something that is definitely worrying me.
