So I had my first appt today and I am 9+1. I asked her to attempt an abdominal ultrasound it’s because I have successfully had one earlier and I had some spotting yesterday and didn’t want to irritate my cervix. Anyways, she didn’t get a proper measurement on the baby, or do that thing where the measure the heart rate. She just said “eh I saw it and it doesn’t matter what the baby is measuring because you’ve had an ultrasound before”. I’m sorry but is it not important to know if the baby is growing or if the heart rate is fast enough?? She just seemed annoyed that I turned down a pap and asked her to try abdominal. Maybe I’m being too sensitive? Has anyone had an appt like this?
