Can a relationship survive a break or timeout??

Depends on the people. Some people claim to just need a break and space. I personally would not stay in a relationship if one of us needed a break from the other but for some people it works

I think on again, off again relationships are very unhealthy.

If you need a “break” instead of figuring out the problem like the adults we are, I’ll do you the favor and exit the relationship

Honestly...it can. It takes two mature people to work through a “break”. Some people actually DO need their space. Me and my husband started dating our junior year of high school, (6 years ago) and by the time graduation rolled around we mutually agreed to have some space. We felt we needed to find ourselves more, start college etc. it was only a month, and we talked and even hung out as friends during that month. When we got back together officially it was like he was a completely different person. He GREW. As well as I. No matter how silly it sounds nothing is ever impossible. Everything is different for each and every person. Communicate, talk about it, share ideas and maybe the two of you will come to some sort of agreement.
