So i had my first appointment on Monday. I had gone in last week for my intake appointment and they did blood work. This is my third pregnancy so i knew what to expect. Well i got put in the doctors office (never happened before)

When he came in he said my baby has something (i dont remember what it was exactly) and my body doesnt have that so my body will try and reject the pregnancy. (I was 9+1) He told me they are sending me to maternal fetal medicine for further treatment.

I asked if it was the RH factor and he said no. Its just as serious as that but its not that. Whatever it is it starts with E.

Heres where im confused, if that was the case, then why qouldnt they give me any paperwork on it? Or give me some kind of information about what it is. Or what to expect. The only thing he said after that was that spotting is okay but anything like period blood i need to go to the hospital asap.

Im confused.
