Help / advice... leaking diapers

We’re using pocket diapers with bamboo inserts, my daughter is six months in two days and in the past couple weeks she’s been leaking every night and sometimes during the day not long after her diaper has been changed. It’s always around the legs, we have the diaper as small as it can fit her around her legs without it being tight but we’re still having the issue.

She is on the small side, still wearing 3m clothes at 6m. I am not sure if it’s just because she’s so small or if anyone has any techniques we can do to avoid the leaks?
