I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I’ve been having issues with huge kidney stones since I was 32 weeks. 2 weeks ago, my right kidney became infected and they decided that putting in a stent was the safest way to drain my kidney and keep the stones under control until I had my baby. Well Monday, I was in extreme pain again and my urine was completely bloody. I went to the hospital and they basically told me that there was nothing they could do and to go home. They didn’t check my kidneys or stent or anything. As soon as I got home, I went to the bathroom and I passed half of the stent!! Yeah, I peed out half of a stent! I was in so much pain and I couldn’t even believe that it happened. It wasn’t a stent that was supposed to come out unless you have a surgeon remove it.

I called the hospital and they told me to come in on FRIDAY and they would see what was going on. I literally still have pieces of this stent floating around in my body. I keep trying to pass the rest, but it’s so painful. I can’t stop throwing up and the hospital won’t do anything until Friday. I’m super pregnant and uncomfortable and now I’m just in extreme pain and I’m worried it’s going to hurt the baby. Plus, my husband is in the army and can’t come home, so I’m home alone with my toddler. 😭😭 ughh I’m falling apart.
