My husband and I live in an apartment with a roommate. I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant and in order to have enough money for a security deposit, pet deposit for both our dogs, moving truck, etc. my husband wants to wait until we get our taxes back next year before we move into a place for just us and be baby. This will be when baby is about 2-3 months old. Being a first time mom, I’m worried about moving with a young baby and all the havoc that comes with it. On top of that, this ruins my dream of being able to setup a nursery while I’m pregnant for the baby to have ready when they’re born. If we move after the baby is born, there’s no point in setting one up here and then having to do it all over again in the new place. If I wait until we get to the new place, I’m going to be a first time mom trying to take care of baby and also paint, decorate, and set up a crib.

Am I just living in a fantasy world in which I have a nursery setup for my unborn child before they come into the earth? Am I worrying over nothing? Idk why this is the one thing that is upsetting me so much. I just want to do something right for this baby. I didn’t have a good childhood.
