i was rapped when i was 13 about 3 years ago i’m sixteen now. and occasionally the question comes up when did you lose your virginity and idk if i say thirteen or when i had consented sex at 15. i know i could always explain but i don’t want to explain it to them nor should i have to. opinions?

Rape isn’t sex, and virginity isn’t something that can be taken away from you without your consent. Virginity isn’t a physical state at all, it’s a social construct to define those who have made the decision to participate in sex. You did not make that decision at 13, you made it at 15. 
I hate the phrase “lose virginity” because it’s not something that can be lost to someone else, it’s something you choose to share with another person. That’s a choice nobody can make for you, or take away from you.
I’m sorry that you experienced what you did, and what many women and men have unfortunately experienced. ❤️
