Funny pet or torture/abuse

I was watching Emzotic on YouTube and I stumbled across on of her videos analyzing viral pet videos.

In one they showed a parrot Type bird picking up a baby hamster throwing it in a wheel and spinning the wheel so fast the hamster was unable to even stand on the wheel. She explained that it seems the animal was taught this, not only that but the bird could have seriously injured the baby hamster.

In another one there’s a husky that has been shaved really low but in a funky kinda cut. She explained that while it may seem harmless, it’s actually really bad to cut double coat animals because their fur not only helps them keep warm but also helps them cool down. Also that cutting their fur can potentially cause them to get sunburned or suffer hypothermia

Another video showed dogs walking upright in their hind legs. She explained that typically this is done as a means of income for the dog owners. And that the dogs are usually tortured into doing it. And when the animal stops performing it’s either killed or abandoned.

The last video shown was of a person going to an outdoor market selling box turtles, buying them and releasing them into the wild. This video seemed to disturb Em the most. She stated that while that sounds kind to do, the person was ultimately sealing the turtles fate. Reason being is box turtles typically spend most of their life within the same area. They’re hard wired to know the area their born in as a means of survival so introducing or reintroducing the turtle to an unknown area to it, you’re essentially killing it slowly.

After watching the video I couldn’t help but feel a sense of guilt. Which brings me to the poll question. Do you find viral pet videos funny, or do you feel it’s abusive
