Depression and anxiety during pregnancy
Just looking for advice, I am currently 14 weeks and 1 day pregnant, first pregnancy to make it to second trimester. Lately though, I've been feeling extremely depressed and alone. My best friend of 9 years abandoned me when she found out I was pregnant, and my fiancé does his best to be supportive, but he's a man and has no clue what I am going through. On top of it all, I have such bad morning sickness that I can't even look at or smell food without getting nauseous or throwing up. This is causing me to have migraines, and be extremely fatigued at all times. I just really need to know what people have done to help alleviate some of the stresses of pregnancy and depression without needing to take pills. I was on Paxil for 6 months for anxiety depression and ptsd, but stopped taking it when my depression and anxiety attacks stopped occurring daily and became an every few months type of thing. Now they are both back, and I feel like a crazy woman because I should be happy after having a miscarriage 2 years ago, but instead I am feeling very lost and confused.
