Who was there the day your baby was born?

If this is the wrong group redirect me! I’m just curious as to who was a visitor the day your baby was out and about! I’m not due until November but I feel like I don’t want friends there until the 3rd day(we have family that has a far travel so they probably won’t be there until day 2) Just family. Is that bad?

My parents and his mom came day one and visited each day. Day two was close family so about 6-8 people. Day three we got to go home 😊 best thing ever. Everyone else came to visit the baby once we were home. I didn’t really say anything to people about when they could visit or what not. I think most people just recognized it was nice to let us bond in the beginning and wait till we were home.

Our baby was born at 5:05 pm on a Wednesday. Honestly, we were so focused on our baby girl that we didn’t even tell parents or siblings until much later that night.
My family lives nearby and they came to visit the next day. We didn’t even tell most extended family and friends until we were home from the hospital. We just wanted to focus on our baby girl :)

Theres nothing wrong with that, with my first i had a unexpected c - section so it was hubby only in the delivery room but our parents got to be with us before i went into surgery and then everyone was there from his family that day which im not going to lie was overwhelming since i was a little out of it i would've preferred them come the next day but then my side of the family did and yeaahhh i never really got to get rest. So with baby #2 we're having a scheduled c-section and i already told my husband i don't want any visitors the first day besides our parents so we can enjoy time with the baby as well give our daughter some time with her baby brother and then the next day everyone can visit.

My mom was there for the birth with my husband. My mother and father in law came the next day or later in the day (my daughter was born in the morning and my son at night) and my SIL and BIL. I didn’t want anyone else there.

I had a csection and the night my son was born our parents and my husbands grandma came.   Honestly by the next day I felt like visitors.    Besides being sore I felt just fine and was quite bored.   Sitting in a bed all day.  I wanted visitors

I was induced, so my husband and I got to the hospital at 5am. My in-laws brought breakfast for my husband at 8am and never left!
 Baby was born at 11pm. My parents arrived around 10pm and my mother was in the room with my husband during delivery.
The next day it was only my husband and our parents.
This time... It will be my husband and myself. That's it, until after delivery. Then my inlaws/parents can come.

Mom and dad and my other 3 kids. My husbands father will come at some point. Maybe my best friend. Other than that everyone can wait till we get home. We never have let other people come—I’m hurting and breastfeeding and napping when I can.

You can have whoever you like whatever day you like. 
With my first, everyone (a couple friends but mostly family) showed up the day I had him and I didn’t care.. (c section was a Thursday at 11:45pm so they came on Friday afternoon)  
My second is due in November and I don’t really care who shows up... I know my close friends won’t probably, mostly family again will show up.
