Maternity jeans?

I’m in need of buying new jeans and pants for work since I’m getting into my 4th month how do maternity jeans work? Like should you stick with the size you are but in maternity or go up a few sizes ? I don’t wanna waste a lot of money on jeans that don’t fit I know there are number sizes are small medium large I need help

They are so much cheaper than target and are super comfy.
If you are considered a small/medium/large in like leggings etc I would stick to that. Some have sizes that go based off your pant size pre-pregnancy!

They usually go by pre pregnancy size. I would honestly try them on cause just like regular clothes, maternity clothes are made differently also

I’ve bought a few pairs of pants at my regular side (used, all different brands, off thredUP) and they all fit great. I’m only 5 months but I can tell they will stretch plenty.

They typically say to go with your pre-pregnancy size. At first I bough 2 pairs and then later on, I got another pair. I didn’t want to get them all at once because you just never know how you’ll put on weight so then grow out of them. Once you get further along and gain more weight, it’s probably a good idea to try them on before you buy.

I bought two pairs at Target, $30 each which is more than I wanted to spend but had to! They are the same size I am for regular jeans. I also bought the belly band for $16 which I LOVE. You can wear your regular jeans but just unbuttoned and works perfect so I switch between maternity, and my regular with the belly band.

I bought some gently used and some new from Poshmark. Generally you size it by your prepregnancy size.

I found Levi’s maternity jeans on amazon. Not very expensive. Prior to pregnancy I was a size 8 and the large was fine with room. They are stretchy. 
I have four pairs I wear them all the time. The black color runs smaller. Size up. It’s not stretchy.

With maternity clothes you typically get the size you were pre pregnancy. Before I was pregnant I wore a medium. I’m 33 weeks and wear a medium in maternity clothes.

I spent $60 today on 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of shorts at target. I am distraught but I couldn’t handle it anymore. All of my clothes were getting so uncomfortable. I chose same size as if I weren’t pregnant and they fit great. Check second hand stores too. I found a pair of kapri’s at goodwill for $10 and leggings that go past my belly for $5. Currently 24 weeks
