13weeks pregnant in Car accident

Ki

Last night after work I got in a car accident. I hit another car head on. I have never been in a car accident before... but let me tell you I have never been so scared in my life, not for myself but for my unborn baby. Immediately i started cramping. I was rushed by ambulance to the ER. So scared of not knowing if my baby was okay... Earlier this pregnancy I went to the ER for cramping and bleeding... diagnosed with a "threatened miscarriage" and put in the "high risk category" so when I entered the 13th week I thought to myself "baby we made it"... then that happened and the worse came to mind as I was cramping horribly. This entire pregnancy so far I haven't got to see my bean... I havent got to see my baby at all... i was starting to feel like I wasnt even pregnant 😞 havent heard the heartbeat either. I'm 13weeks and havent got to experience those Joys yet, until the accident... I was rushed for an ultrasound, I begged the ultrasound tech to PLEASE let me see the baby to know the baby was okay... she was hesitant but she finally let me see... Ladies, what I saw made me cry so much. I saw my little baby jumping around in there. The baby was telling me "look mommy I am here and I am strong, I am a fighter mommy!" I was filled with so much joy!!! Just to know my little bean is perfectly okay. I am truly blessed with this little one. Something or someone was watching over me last night. Truly.

I know there will be these two questions...

Insurance, my insurance isnt the best right now as I been a stay at home mom with my daughter for 8months I started a new job and waiting for my insurance to kick in so I can get to experience ultrasounds this pregnancy. That's why I havent been able to see the baby yet, where I go they only do ultrasounds if absolutely necessary and the first time I went to the ER for cramping and bleeding the ultrasound tech told me I absolutely could not see or look at the screen.

The accident: I was not at fault. I had a green light going north 30mph, the lady I hit was going south and Turing left into a shopping center. She did not see me and took the turn anyways, therefore I hit her.

I am extremely grateful this didnt end horribly and feel so blessed. Just wanted to post because I'm definitely counting my blessings💕 Stay safe ladies
