if you’re feeling sad or anxious

hello everyone! this will probably not get noticed, but i’ve been feeling super depressed and angry all day, i have been staying off school as well for about 2 days mostly because of this, and i’ve also felt like crap since i’ve had an operation 2 weeks ago. but i’m over it now, and have had some time to think to myself, and i wanna day a few things to people who are feeling similar.

yeah, it sucks. it may feel like everything is going to shit, and yeah, not gonna lie, it is. many things could be making you feel this way, but at the end of the day, it’s ok! this post is kind of a train wreck i know, but i wanna at least try and help people out.

here are a few things if you’re feeling sad to do.

~listen to your favourite songs. i’m currently doing this, and i got a boost of happiness and joy.

•watch your favourite movie. you could also watch a new movie that you haven’t seen yet.

~go outside. no matter what time of the day it is, day or night, sit outside for a bit and get some fresh air.

•write your feelings down. i tend to do it when i’m sad or anxious. yeah, my hand hurts a lot afterwards, but it’s worth it, because i feel happier.

~text a friend or family member. you could either tell them about your feelings, or even compliment them or start a good conversation.

•calm down. take a few deep breaths, lie down, do whatever you can to make you feel better.

~make some food. everyone loves food, and it usually makes me feel happy and calm.

•think happy. it can be real hard to think happy thoughts, or even calm ones. know that people care about you and want to help you. you’re loved, and when you think that everything is dark and awful, the light never disappears and you can reach it with self care.

~block negative people/thoughts out. you are on this earth to live a good life, not to impress everyone. you’re not on this earth to just wait to die, you’re here because you matter and you can make a difference, whether it be for one person or the whole world. there are other people who are feeling like you, and you can never suspect who it is. be kind to everyone including yourself and you will feel better.

•be proud of yourself. it’s almost been another stressful depressing and exhausting week, but you make it! you got through another week, and i’m proud of you! everyone is proud of you. had a busy day at work/school? you got through it, and i’m so proud of you. you’re still here, and everyone is happy that you’re still here. it can be hard, but you’ve gone though another hard week, and you can do it again. so keep fighting.

okay, i think that’s enough. if for some reason you’re still here and have read all that, congratulations. i’m gonna go now, but i hope this helped at least a little bit. take care of yourself, drink water, and be proud of yourself. now go out there and kick ass girl❤️💙💛
