Safe for newborn to sleep in?

Mommas please give me advice. Should I leave him to sleep in his crib or can I use this so he can sleep in. His crib is taking too much space in my room & I need something small but safe for him. Thank you.

It looks like it is at an incline, so no. Babies need a firm, flat surface. I’d rather have no space vs risk safe sleep 🤷🏻‍♀️

Looks similar to the Rock N Play which just got recalled for sleep safety issues (among other things). Get a flat bassinet to put next to the bed or a pack and play that is flat and not a suffocation risk. Even though your baby can’t flip yet, the fabric on the sides of that don’t look breathable.

This has been recalled as everyone has stated . I have a rock n play and I didn’t have any problems . I used it for the first 2 1/2 months of my son’s life and he got super chunky and started trying to roll so I no longer used it (hence safety concerns ) however it would be at your discretion what you feel is right . If u do use this like I did always make sure you supervise your baby in it ( swings any carriers , walkers etc ) all need supervision of course .

This isn’t the Rock n Play... I wasn’t able to find a recall on it either. Luckily because this was a life saver with my oldest and hopefully my son who’s due any day now will love it also. My son only slept in this until he was old enough. The description of the product is that it is for sleeping newborns and my son’s Dr wasn’t against it when I asked him his opinion on it.
