Would you be annoyed?

My dad and step mom will be keeping my toddler when we at the hospital and when the baby is born.   They decided to make plans to be out of town May 19-24.  I am due in June 2 so the baby could come that week.  My 2.5 yr old hasn’t ever stayed over night with anyone before and it makes me nervous.   I have other family members that can watch my daughter but she is used to my stepmom and dad since she stays with them 2 days a week.  I’m not angry but it makes me nervous.

It’s nothing wrong with them taking a vacation before the baby come- let alone a vacation period. I would not be annoyed, just be grateful that they are willing to take care of the kids in you and your hubby absence.
Side note: You do have a husband, should your LO come a few days early. That’s what he is for (teamwork). I understand you want him there by your side in the hospital but a ton of woman on the board has done it (hubby come to birth, have a friend in the waiting area watching other child, they meet their newest sibling, hang out at the hospital, and then head home to put oldest to bed).
Don’t be annoyed by your parents vacation- at the end of the day, they are grown 🙂

This happened to me with my last baby. My in laws decided last minute to take a trip to Hawaii for two weeks. So I had to scramble and call my parents to see if they could drive from a different state to watch my oldest because I had to get induced.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. My hubby’s parents are unfortunately passed away and my parents live 45 mins away. My 2.5 year old daughter is really shy even around people she sees all the time so being with my parents is ideal. 
Baby is diagnosed as IUGR and my due date is June 17th. My mom is a teacher and her school year ends about then which was fantastic in the beginning but now with the complications I don’t think we will make it till June. She told me the other day she can’t watch my little for one of my appointments May 23rd because of a school function...no problem it happens and I have enough time to reschedule/figure out a backup plan but I have the weirdest feeling that she will end up here because I’ll be in labor.
With my first my hubby traveled for work and every single year his company would have a week long meeting in Wisconsin (we live in RI). Guess who was due the week he was supposed to be there 🤦🏻‍♀️ we got lucky and they cancelled it which was the first time they’d ever done that. I was freaking out because even if I started going into labor trying to get him back home from Wisconsin with the flights would have been a shit show.

Can your SO watch the toddler at home while you are at the hospital? Obviously not during birth but for the overnights? Sorry I couldn't tell from your post if that was an option.
I'm kind of in a similar situation. I prefer my parents to watch my 2.5 year old overnight. She's never stayed anywhere else. I'm due June 1 and they will be away for a week at the end of May. I'm just hoping for the best as far as timing goes. 
Most likely my husband will stay home with my toddler and I will "sleep" 😂 at the hospital.
