Does your SO always call you beautiful?

My boyfriend has called me beautiful probably a handful of times. I try not to base my self esteem off others but I'm just not sure why he never really compliments me?

Some guys just don’t. My husband hardly ever compliments me which makes it even more special when he does. And the way he does it is in his own way... I’m 20w pregnant and feeling self conscious and was complaining about it and not having clothes that fit right and feeling off... he turns to me shrugs and tells me “I like you better without them anyways.” 😂 he may not call me beautiful or anything but he says things in his own way, listen and watch, I’m sure your SO does it his own way too. Everyone has a love language, you just have to learn it

My husband shows his admiration in other ways. He is not a very verbal person when it comes to emotions and feelings. He is more of an actions speak louder than words kind of guy.

My husband tells me daily! “Good morning beautiful!” “You look beautiful today, I love that dress”. But I also tell him he’s very handsome daily! Today we both got haircuts and I think I’ve said he’s sexy like 12 times. So compliment him often and see if he bites! You may be surprised.

I need an option between ‘everyday’ and ‘once in a while’. It’s often enough but not everyday.

Mm I basically forbade my partner from calling me beautiful. In ALL of my previous relationships it was ‘good morning beautiful ‘, ‘how are you beautiful’, ‘hey beautiful’, etc. 
The word means nothing to me now, I hate it as a pet name and I view it as them not showing me the respect I deserve (I’ve been through a lot lol ) . 
He has said that I LOOK beautiful 2-3 times and I’ve let it slide because I knew he genuinely meant it and it just came out. 
But he compliments me in so many other ways and I compliment him too. When I do things for him he says to himself ‘aw look what I get, gosh I’m lucky’ he says all the time he appreciates me; even in front of parents and friends and that warms my heart & feels SO much better than being called beautiful, so much! 💞💖

Not every single day but he does compliment me every day. He’s very affectionate like that. All guys are different. As long as you feel loved that’s what’s important. If you need to hear those things then talk to him about it. Relationship is about give and take. He may not be one to say those things but if it’s something you want to hear then definitely express that to him! My husband is more of the I’m so lucky to have you in my life type of guy. He does call me beautiful but practically every single night multiple times (especially when I’m trying to fall asleep lol) but I do love hearing it even though sometimes I may not act like it!

Sometimes here and there. He will text me , tell me or show me in different ways. When he does of course it makes me feel good I don’t mine it.
