Car seat - when do you intend to install?

Hello Mums and Dads, I’m nearly 36 weeks and actually will be induced at 39 weeks so our June baby will be a May baby. (No health problems just high risk because of being over 35 so just going on docs advice).
Just wondered when is a good time to install the car seat? 
I’m nesting hard and just want to be prepped and ready!! Hubby thinks it’s too soon but I am also of the mind that it would be good to get it checked out to see if we installed it correctly. FTM and could be going bananas!!

Already done since 31 weeks.
Isofix base is installed in my car now and car seat at home ready to clip in when the big day arrives. No harm in being prepared, you never know when that baby will make an appearance!

Last night hubby & I attended a car seat class.  Turns out 4 out of 5 car seats are installed incorrectly. I’m so glad we did it.  Today we had the car detailed & tomorrow will have the instructor of the class professionally install the car seat.  My c-section is scheduled for May 28th (at 36 weeks).

I didn’t install mines because I heard if you get into a accident you have to buy i new one

I won’t be installing ours until we are on the way to the hospital. I’ve made sure it fits and can be correctly installed but I’m paranoid about getting into an accident with it

I’m 34 weeks now but I’m being induced on May 23 so she’ll be a May baby but her dad plan on putting it up any day now.

I'm weird. My husband will put it in at the hospital. We did about a week out with my first. His seat is still good and we know how to get it in right. Doing it this way so that of we are in an accident by some fluke we dont have to worry about getting it replaced.

Due June 25th and plan on installing at 37 weeks (so about 4 weeks out from now)

I’m installing mine around 37 weeks, and will have it checked by a certified car seat inspector from the local fire station. It’s an infant seat with the base so once that’s checked over, I’ll take the seat out and leave just the base in until I’m in labor!
