Hi all. I have been trying to conceive my second child for about 18 months. I already have a 4 year old daughter and it only took 3 months to conceive her.

I came off birth control and manage to conceive twice, although they were both chemical pregnancies. I have been having blood tests and they have confirmed my LH/FSH levels are a bit abnormal but scans showed my ovaries are fine. I have been put on to metformin 1500mg even though I’m not diabetic or have insulin resistance? Will this help with ovulation? I don’t understand why I’ve been put on it if I don’t have PCOS or insulin resistance??

I had a positive ovulation test 6 days ago but blood tests have just shown I didn’t ovulate. I am so so fed up of my body and I don’t know where to turn! Does anyone have any success stories?!
