Effexor?

Anyone on this? Any side effects ? Do you like it and would recommend it? Thanks.

I took it years ago and I hated the side effect of that it made me have the sweats allllllllll the time. It was like I was in menapause with hot flashes so I got off of it after a year or so and getting off of it was pure awful... felt like I was dying.

It is one of the hardest to get off of and you should not take if planning on being pregnant

I’m on it. Perfect med for me. Other meds made me numb but this one takes the edge off. I still feel the range of emotions but the down/depression spectrum actually takes something to get there. As in I no longer cry for no reason. When I forget to take it for a few days, I can definitely tell. 
Work with your doc to find the right med! It’s taken me years to find the right med in the right dosage. I’m glad I’m finally here.

I was on it for awhile and mind you, everyone has different reactions to different meds but I personally hated it. It made me so numb. When I was on it I told my doctor it made me emotionless. You could tell me my dog died and I would have no reaction. It was not fun. Did not help me personally.
