What solids/foods are you feeding?

Question

My baby only takes purées now, but seems very unhappy with it at feed time, all of a sudden. I’m thinking she wants other foods? Or should I try different things? What are you feeding your little ones?

Pasta with sauce, cheese, bagel (cut into quarters), scrambled and boiled eggs, mashed potato, carrots, broccoli, peas, corn, chicken, roast beef, salmon, banana, strawberries, plums, blueberries, mango, apple, pears, baby cereal (very little),  Cheerios, yogurt melts, baby cookies, or even softer regular adult cookies, yogurt and he’s tried ice cream too. (Think that’s it might be more foods he’s tried but those are regulars in his diet)
All fruit is chopped up into bite size pieces easy for him to pick up with his pincer grasp. Except banana, apple, pear I serve that BLW style. 
All meats and most veggies are chopped up into smaller bite size pieces and then mixed together with gravy. 
He loves table foods over purée, he loves feeding himself and feeling the food and playing with it. I don’t think he’ll eat purée ever again lol.

We are trying more and more solid foods every day.  She's a pro with Gerber cereal puffs and Gerber cheese puffs, also rice rusks. 
She's had mashed potatoes, soft meatloaf, toast with PB, scrambled eggs, TINY pieces of baked chicken with gravy. I was so paranoid. She ate 3 pieces and did fine, but again... they were tiny. Lol. 
Uuum. Banana just like it is. I peeled it down and she chewed pieces off. Shredded cheese. 
I want to try pasta, we tried a few weeks ago and she loved it so much but I was so paranoid... I hear spiral pasta is the best to give.

How old is she? You have to be kind of careful based on age what you feed them. A lot of times, while trying new tastes, babies don’t like it at first. If you go back with that food a few days later, chances are they gobble it right up.
My girl was not a fan of solids for the LONGEST time. Now that she’s 8 months and we finally have the hang of this food thing, we try everything with her. She’s only had Gerber and Sprout brand foods, but she’s had pretty much every flavor they offer. She’s not a huge fan of meat, but does love ham. She loves all of the fruits and veggies that we’ve tried. And her all time favorite purée is the Sprout brand Banana Blueberry Oatmeal food pouch. We also started giving her some table food at 7 months.
It’s all trial and error, momma. She’ll have her days where she won’t like what you give her, but just keep trying. She’ll come around to it.
