32 week hormone surge...

So I'm aware that there can be a hormone surge that can last a couple of weeks around this time. I think that's happening to me now. Foods that would normally give be low numbers are now spiking me. This morning for breakfast I had my regular 2 pieces if high fiber sprouted bread with scrambled eggs and coffee with cream, and my 2 hour number was 7.2, when it should be 6.6 or under. Feeling pretty discouraged right now. It's been pretty easy to control my numbers so far, so I guess I should feel lucky, but now I feel like I'm starting all over again, after a month of figuring out what worked for me and what didn't. Now I'm afraid to eat anything. How did you guys manage this period? Did you end up needing insulin or did your numbers eventually settle down?
