Can hear heartbeat but no movement?

Question

I’m trying to calm myself down before my anatomy scan on Friday. 
I’m 20+1 with my second, & so far I haven’t really felt any movement. I felt my son by around 19 weeks which is why I’m starting to worry. 
An Anterior placenta was never mentioned at my previous ultrasounds, but I haven’t had one for 7 weeks. So I’m not sure of placenta location 🤷🏼‍♀️
I do have a home Doppler, & can locate this little ones heartbeat in the lower left part of my stomach. So I’m trying to tell myself that everything’s okay. 
Is this something I should be concerned about? Or just take some deep breaths & calm down until Friday?

I have a Doppler and can hear heartbeat as well I can’t feel much either as far as kicking/movement. I just had my 20 week ultrasound and found out I have an anterior placenta..... but I had to ask. Nobody offered up the information. I’m sure you’re fine.

There is still lots of room in the uterus and your baby might be moving and you just don’t feel it all the time...I had an ultrasound at my last doctors appointment at 21 weeks and the baby was moving all over the place but I didn’t feel any of it...regularly felt movements won’t occur until later in pregnancy

I’m in the same boat. I’m on my 3rd, 20 weeks and have been able to feel my first 2 around 18/19 weeks. I keep trying to tell myself that i JUST heard the heart beat a week ago and everything is probably fine, could be anterior placenta. I have an ultrasound next week so I’ll find out for sure then.

I just found out at my anatomy scan that I have a anterior placenta. Don't stress!

Try drinking cold water and eat something sweet then lay on your left side for a while. (I’m sure you remember this from your first) Maybe you’ll feel a little movement. You could just have a calm/lazy baby in there. I hardly felt anything between 19-20 weeks. I started to worry. Then for some reason by 21 weeks full kicks are happening and I can see them from the outside. It was like night/day. One week I felt almost nothing, the next week my family was able to feel her kick from the outside! Also, it’s possible you have an anterior placenta. I just found out this week that I have a low lying placenta and I’ve had 2 ultrasounds plus an anatomy scan before this! Maybe they haven’t seen your placenta placement yet.

Usually between 18-22 weeks is when you feel baby move, so I’m sure it’ll happen soon. Do you have anterior placenta?
