Pooping after c-section?

How long did it take you ladies to poop after hour c-section? It’s been like over 3 days and I’m dying 😩😩😩😩

Well the deed is done haha! It was awful and took forever 😭 I just kept breathing and took my time. Feeling much better now 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I had my section on a Wednesday and I pooped late Thursday night. My nurse gave me a concoction that was black coffee, hot chocolate, with 10 sugars and 10 creams. Lol as long as you aren’t diabetic I highly recommend. I didn’t think I was ever going to poop and that worked in about 30 minutes!

I went 5 days. I had to take 2 laxatives and manually remove my poo myself...twice.

I was so constipated! It was so painful and horrible. I didn’t go until day 5 or 6. This time my doctor has me starting stool softeners 3 days before our planned c-section on 5/17. While in the hospital, she is also going to have me take miralax.

Two days later . I was given stool softener every six hours while I was in the hospital

5 days for me. It was like labor all over again and so intense. I took stool softener and the pill you put up your booty (my mind is drawing a blank right now, I forgot the name). After your first poo I’d recommend to take a stool softener every other day to help until your body can regulate it.
