First poop after a csection?

So how is the first poop going to work out? Is it painful? I will I even poop for the first few days? Can I take a laxative?

i Had a vaginal birth, when i pooped i didn't even feet it 😂 That's how loose my fucking ass was 💀💀💀💀 I'm 2 Weeks Pp & it has gone back to normal already lol.

I literally came out of the bathroom, sat down next to my husband...and told him it was the biggest 💩 I’ve ever had 😂 I think it’s more the meds, he had warned me before because I never take meds lmao

It is painful. Start taking stool softeners about a week before your procedure is scheduled for. And take them after, too. For a long time. To me, the only painful part of my recovery was pooping.

It just hurts to push because your insides are sore lol. Otherwise it's not too bad.

Lots of stool softeners. I ate like a horse after delivery but didn’t poop til day 5 because it hurt. I had 2 2nd degree tears. But I held a warm wet washcloth up against my stitches as counterpressure and that’s the only way I was finally able to poop. And I really had to go!!

They gave me a laxative to make me go. It instantly hit so hopefully they or you aren’t ‘busy’ taking your vitals or something else. lol I had to walk quickly to the bathroom

Take still softeners and drink lots of water, that'll help so much. The first poop is scary but it will be easier if you take the stool softeners and drink water.

Regardless of a csection or vaginal birth some struggle while others dont. I seriously didnt poop for a week because pushing hurt. So what I did was take a wash cloth and kept wetting it with warm/hot water and held it on my vagina. It saved my life lol I finally went after I did that.
