Does pineapple really put you into labor?

pretty sure its something like “you need to eat 12 pineapple cores” in order for it to even remotely do anything in the slightest. i wish though, i love pineapple lol

Google it... you would have to eat 7 whole entire pineapples, and the cores. And basically it just irritates your gut and makes you feel sick then you go into labor because you are that uncomfortable.

It may because it causes you to contract if you eat 5 or more whole pineapples back to back.

The thing about these alternative ways to into labor is your body has to be ready.  From my understanding you have to eat a lot,  so it could work but it depends on your body.

From what I've read it's more to help ripen and soften your cervix and the core is the best part. In my last pregnancy I had one or two smoothies with a bunch of pineapple in them everyday. I was 3 cm by 38 weeks and had my son at 39 weeks after a sweep. Idk if the pineapple helped or not but I'll probably try again this time.
