Hey ladies!

So at my appointment last week my BP was 153/80. Obviously that's high but I was super anxious for some reason which I know is why it was so high. My doc had me lay down in the exam room and re took my BP. It went down to 130/78. She had me come back the next day and my BP was high on the initial reading and then went down again when they retook it. My doc decided to put me on labetalol 100mg 1x daily. My concern is that when I check my BP at home, it's consistantly under 120/80. Can taking a BP medication ve dangerous when your BP only spikes when your anxious?

I would love to hear from others who have taken this medication and if they had any issues with side effects. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant.
