We are about to attempt our first week without the dummy after her last one broke (she chewed it), I explained that when you're dummy breaks it means you are a big girl now, she said her goodbyes to the dummy, let her cry for a bit and lots of cuddles. I gave her Mr Grey (her new bunny toy) and explained that Mr Grey will be there to keep her safe. Tonight she went to bed without any issues and without a dummy... fingers crossed the night goes smoothly and she doesn't forget it's broken.
