Does anyone else want more kids but are NOT going to have more just because it's so much work and you have to put so much of your time into a new human??

I’ve always wanted two but after one (she’s a toddler right now) I’m kind of exhausted pretty much all the time. My hands are pretty full. I can’t imagine doubling the workload (so to speak) right now.

I wanted 2 children, but after a difficult pregnancy, a traumatic birth and a baby that fights against sleep, I'm not sure I could commit to all that again while dealing with a toddler.

I mean yes it’s a lot of work but I want at least one more. There are too many wonderful things about it to cut myself off from the richness of at least one more gift.

We’re still debating. My daughter is a handful and I’m so tired all the time idk if I can do this again. But she’s also so amazing and o would love to give her a sibling. I want to go back to school and get a degree so if I do that then start working we most likely won’t have another.

I definitely want another one but in a few years. I want to wait until my daughter can do a few things on her own so I’m not super task saturated. Not to mention I still remember how exhausting being pregnant was towards the end. Throw in a toddler and that’s a recipe for extreme fatigue.

See like I really cannot see myself having another kid because I have a 5 month old right now and he’s such a handful and takes up all my time when he’s awake, it’s tiring, but I feel bad because then he’s an only child and he won’t have any siblings:/
