I got my copper IUD two months after having my daughter. I’m not 4 months PP and have had the IUD for 2 months. Before getting it, I only had one period after my 6week PP bleeding, and I’ve only had one actual period during the IUD. I don’t know if I’m irregular due to the fact that I just had a baby and am breast feeding or because of the IUD.

I’ve had my copper iud now for a little over a year and it’s definitely made my period very irregular (not necessarily just late.) They used to be 14 days apart and now sometimes I go a whole month between periods and sometimes they are just 3 days apart for a full cycle. It’s also made them much heavier and before they used to last just 5 days and now they are almost always at least a week to 2 weeks long. Also made cramps worse but I guess it’s all worth it in the end. 🙃
