What size clothes for baby??

FTM here and I’m so confused on what size clothes to pack in my baby’s hospital bag. She’s measuring on the smaller side and I don’t know if I should only bring newborn clothes.

If she’s on the smaller side I would bring preemie and newborn. My smallest baby was 8lb 12oz so I always bring newborn and 0-3. We actually purchased the same outfit in both sizes to take with us so we know either way she is coming home in that lol.

More than likely, newborn. My son was born 8 lbs 8 oz and 24” long and wore newborn for weeks.

My babies have been 7lbs 2oz, 6lbs 10oz, and 5lbs 15oz... I bring only newborn clothing and they have worn that size for weeks after. My littlest even wore some premie clothing for a few weeks.

I'm packing newborn. My son was just over 8 pounds at birth but with the weight loss they fit perfect and he was in newborn awhile. If I need bigger size big brother and grandma can go pick out an outfit together and bring it in

Pack a couple NB outfits and a couple of 0-3 months just in case. My first was 7lbs, 10ozs and I was glad I brought NB because those were even big on him!
