We’ve been TTC for 5 months and I’m worried I’m not timing it right.

So basically...it may take a month or two to get the timing correct, but the best day to have sex is during your LH surge. That is your most fertile day and you typically ovulate the following day. However, you also have a high chance of pregnancy the five days before you ovulate. The reason is because the sperm can live up to five days inside you. So even if you have sex a few days before you ovulate, before your LH surge, you can totally still get pregnant. Typically it’s about the same timing every month, unless you have certain hormone imbalances, in which case your timing can become a bit irregular sometimes.
