I'm 17 , a minor. My mom works minumum wage and I just started working and my mom won't let me go to work a lot because she says they'll cut me off for Medicaid because I'm working 10-20 hrs? Is this true?

It’s kind of sad that people are deliberately not working or working low wage/min hours  just to get “free” stuff from the govt

Yes it is. If you make over a certain amount they will cut you off.

It's not the amount of hours it's the income cutoff, although I dont think it's true for minors unless you are legally independent
