Hi guys just wondering if anyone has any experience of fetal ventriculomegaly, basically where they have extra fluid on the brain and if anyone could share their experiences.

21 week scan showed some extra fluid on one side of our baby girls brain, but it was borderline normal/mild.

Blood tests for possible infection taken but the results seem to have gone missing.

MRI and ultrasound conducted at the end of week 29 to monitor and the fluid is now moderate levels and has increased, plus the other side is now showing slightly elevated levels.

No other abnormalities, perfect heartbeat, size is spot on and head has no swelling or anything. It's just the one measurement.

I guess I'm just worried as they have given me 4 options but basically it's just waiting and seeing until she's born. So I was just wondering if anyone had gone through things similar. It's going to be a long 10 weeks, I lost her twin at 5 weeks and I can't bare the thought of anything happening to her now.
