What carrier do you suggest?

Question

I have baby number two due in about 14 weeks, my son is going to be about 20 months old when she is born. So I’m thinking little miss is going to be in a carrier pretty much anytime we’re out and about. 
I liked the Moby wrap with my son, but I never fully trusted it and still had my arms around him at all times.
What do the ladies of Glow recommend?

Like a lot of PPs, I have 2 carriers, one soft (K’tan) and one structured (ergo). But since you said you liked the Moby other than the trust issue, I wanted to recommend the Baby K’tan. I haven’t tried any of the wrap type carriers because I was afraid I wouldn’t trust it - or myself, really, to tie it correctly with confidence. The K’tan doesn’t require any tying, it’s really easy to get baby in and out of and I know she’s secure. I recommend looking up some video demos/how-tos to see if you might like it! If you have a Buy Buy Baby near you, you can try one on. One downside is that they are sized - so you have to pick a size, and you and your partner/other caretakers may not be able to share. But overall I’ve really loved it!

I LOVE the Boppy carrier!! It is like a happy combination between a wrap and a structured carrier. It is super easy to get the baby in and out, the material is very stretchy and very comfortable, and it has great support for baby. 
If you're planning on doing something strenuous, like long hikes with the baby, a structured carrier like the Ergo would give you more support. But in my opinion, you can't beat the Boppy for everyday wear around the house, grocery shopping, etc.

I always just used the wraps. As long as their tied correctly, they’re safe. I can bend over with my son & don’t have to worry about it. My daughter is 32 pounds, and I can still put her in it. 
Personally, I never found an actual carrier that I liked. I’ve tried several, but they never worked for us.

I have two, Beco Ring Sling and an Ergo. I love both and felt very secure carrying baby in either one.
