Women CEOs are amazing ❤

I miscarried on Saturday. It was the most traumatic thing I've ever gone through, and am so lucky that my husband was there and has been so supportive. I didn't go to the ER because the on-call doctor said that there was nothing they could do for me, so I just went through it at home.

On Monday, I went into work as per usual and made it an hour before someone asked me if I had a good weekend and I burst into tears. My direct boss who is the COO was very caring and sympathetic. She sent me home, and I did tell her what had happened (I wasn't far enough along that I had even told anyone at work I was pregnant yet).

An hour later, I got a call from my CEO who told me she was so sorry for my loss, and she had gone through it once so she understood. She told me to take as much time as I need, and not to worry about using PTO or anything. I could work from home or take half days, whatever I need to do to heal emotionally.

My husband and I are both so completely devastated by this loss, it has been such a hard week. But I don't know any other company that would be so supportive, and I am so grateful that I work for such amazing people.
