Episiotomy Talk/Question.

Ftm here..im Looking for ladies that also had a episiotomy done before or heard about someones experience.

How are you feeling down there?

Do you have a scar/scar tissue?

Does it ever heal completely?

My story:

I am just 5 weeks and 2 days postpartum,i can still feel stiches down there,and i thought they dissolved after 2 weeks.

and i have a pretty excessive scar tissue,inside and out.

I dont know what degree of cut i had or how bad it was..they wouldnt even tell me how many stiches when i asked,just said "its a shoelace stich"..i had a hemorrhage after labour and had quite abit going for a couple hours so i assume there was more damage than just the episiotomy.

Anyways,Is that how they normally heal?

I do have my 6 week check up soon and will ask my doc all of this,but i was expecting to be able to have sex again nevermind go into my appointment with concerns and no hope of it healing over completely.
