Yesterday morning I was trying to have a BM and it sounded like I was peeing into the toilet. I obviously wasn’t so I stood up to check and the bowl was full of blood. I wiped and saw it was coming from the anus. It lasted a couple minutes and then stopped. Boy was it terrifying!! It seemed like a lot of blood!! I had two small BMs that morning and no more blood and none the rest of the day. I had a BM early this morning with no blood but during a second one this morning (after I ate) there was some blood in the toilet again.

After googling I was thinking either a burst hemorrhoid or fissure. I know I have a fissure at the moment but I didn’t think it would cause that much blood?

Anyone have experience with either a burst hemorrhoid or fissure??
