Do you feed your babe organic foods?

We buy organic based on the “dirty dozen,” a list of fruits/veggies that typically receive the highest concentration of pesticides. The rest I just buy whatever’s least expensive.

I try to buy organic dairy for her, because that's one thing all the baby/toddler dieticians I follow recommend to spend the extra $ on if you are able to, and are going to buy organic. With fruits and veggies it just depends on what's on sale. If organic cucumbers are only $.40 cents more I'll usually get that. But if organic mango is $2 more I'll usually just give her regular. (I buy a lot of frozen berries so that it doesn't go to waste and I can get the best deal.) With some of her other items like nut butters and stuff I focus on looking for ones with no added salt or sugar, just the nuts. So those are usually organic anyway, though I'm not specifically seeking that out.

Kids eat what I eat most of the time. We raise our own cows, buy chickens on my SIL who raises them, pork off my cousin who raises them and we eat a lot of deer and moose meat. We do veggies out of the garden and berries as well. We of course eat some processed foods as well but the baby doesn’t get fast food or sugar yet.
