False negatives?

Are false negatives really that common? I’m 2 days late and keep getting negatives my cycle never goes past 26 days and I’m on day 29

I know several women that do not test positive on hpt. I have a friend who was 20 weeks before she got a positive hpt test, before they were all negative even thiught she KNEW she was pregnant (confirmed by doctor) 
Some women do not produce enough hcg in their urine to test positive on an hpt. It is possible.

Some people can take up to a week after their missed period for a positive to show up (from what I have read). Wait a couple days and then test again.

I tested negative for 2 days with about 4 tests total...a few days later, after my missed period, I tested positive. My son is 2 years old now. Definitely possible.

Yes it's possible. My last pregnancy took 13 days after my period was due to get a positive. Unfortunately that one ended in a miscarriage. Now I am on cycle day 35 without a positive test yet.

If multiple tests are giving you negatives thats means you’re not pregnant, you can keep getting false negatives.
