Anyone else hoping for a VBAC this December?

Were you warned about any differences throughout the pregnancy because of your past c-section? Or were you told in more detail how VBACs differ from regular vaginal births? Please share!

I had a csection with my.son after 84 hours of labor. I recently found out i was pregnant with #2 and this is a decision i. Need to make. Im at a loss idk what to do

Yes I had a c-creation in feb of 2012, so it’s been quit some time.... I’m hoping to have a VBAC. I suffered from preeclampsia with my son so if things become too intense and blood pressure rises then I will opt for a csection again

I had a VBAC in June of 2016. My doctor was amazing. He was basically just supervising and making sure things went how they should, until it was time for me to actually push and he was there to catch. The dilation and induction (i was 41+5) had to be gentler than a standard induction for someone who hadn’t have a c-section. They used a foley balloon to dilate my cervix. It was not comfortable, i was miserable. After i got the epi, i could actually sleep for a few hours, so i did. Once the balloon came out i was more comfortable and could relax on my own. I pushed for 2.5 hours, and my sweet girl was born at 8 lbs 9 oz. 
The crappiest part was not being able to drink or eat for almost a day and how difficult sleeping was for me.

My first child was vaginal but i did had to have my cervix softened and i was induced. My second was an emergency csection at 36 weeks because her cord was wrapped around her neck and leg. And with my 3rd i wanted a vbac so bad but they said the only way that was possible was for me to go into labor on my own. I had a leep procedure done on my cervix when i was a teen and the scar tissue makes it impossible for my cervix to soften or dilate so i had another csection and will have another one with this baby.

Anyone else hoping for a VBAC this December?
