How are you finding out babys weight?

Midwife measured belly at 28 week scan, all good.
Last scan was at 20 weeks..
Have you had private scan?

You have a growth ultrasound. But discerning the weight from an ultrasound is highly inaccurate. You can even read other women’s posts on here. The doctors have said they would have 10lbs babies and then they come out at 7lbs. So I wouldn’t worry too much about knowing it.

same i haven’t found out babys weight either my last scan was 19 weeks and they just measured my belly for my 28 week appt. 😓😓

I did a private scan since my anatomy scan was at 19 weeks but the private scan they were not allowed to share any type of measurement or health things only to take pics. I’m 33 weeks

I am high risk so had a growth scan today at 28 weeks. Baby is measuring a little under 3 lbs. they said.

The women saying the weight are women who’ve had ultrasounds and the tech or doctor told them the estimate.
I have scans done every month, ordered by my OB, because I’m at risk for placental insufficiency (since I had prolonged bleeding from 20-27 weeks). 
As others have said though....they’re not usually spot on for accuracy.

I had a growth scan last pregnancy with my son cause I was in alot of pain inside and hurting. I kept complaining, I couldn't sleep and couldnt eat I felt so full. I'm 5'3 & usually about 115lbs pre-pregnancy They say, "Hmmmm...not sure what the problem is, he is only weighing 7 1/2 pounds. He was born 2 days later at 10lbs!!!! 🤔
I don't know how accurate those are, honestly, anyway. 🤷

My first pregnancy I never knew baby’s weight, however this pregnancy I go monthly for growth ultrasounds at my MFM office bc baby’s cord Is single artery which directly effects growth/weight. 
If you know baby’s measurements or “fetal biometry” as it’s called (like head circumference, abdominal circumference, femur length, etc) you can plug them in on a website that estimates baby’s weight. I can actually see measurements on my online patient portal and just out of curiosity I plugged them in one day and sure enough it matched what I was told for babies weight, but it can still be off bc measurements aren’t always exact via u/s.

I dont think you can estimate weight by belly size. Only by ultrasound and even that isn’t all that accurate. 
Im having growth scans for a few different reasons. Last one was at 30w and they estimated baby to be 3lbs 8oz. They only do growth ultrasounds for medical concerns.
